My latest effort is called NoBody Likes You, Greta Grump. It is an all ages graphic novel; much easier to read than my adult stories and much less complex, but still full of genuine feeling.

NoBody Likes You, Greta Grump was created with the intention of having people of different generations read it together. I realize that this might be a big ask, given how excessively individualized experiences are now. But I figured that, since this book is not a silicon-based device requiring ear buds and a charger, it might offer the possibility of a shared experience. It can definitely be a conversation starter between parents, grandparents, and kids.

So when you see NoBody Likes You, Greta Grump being marketed as a “middle grade” graphic novel, know that it is actually intended for people aged eight to 108, especially if they enjoy talking to each other.

Marketing categories are quite rigid, while artistic thinking is not.
